ME01 - Humpback Whales

One of the ocean’s most charismatic and well-known travellers of the high seas and coastal shores, humpback whales have come back from the brink of extinction thanks largely to the efforts of the environmental movement which started in earnest in the 1950’s.

ME02 - Kelp Forest Landscapes

Like their terrestrial counterparts, kelp forests provide a home and source of food for an astounding variety of creatures. Long overlooked as a key habitat to protect, kelp forests are increasingly receiving the protection they deserve in order to thrive.

ME03 - The Sardine Run

Described by Sir David Attenborough as one of the greatest gatherings of predators on the plant, that annual range extension up the east coast of South Africa rarely fails to serve up something of interest to those willing to put in the time on the open ocean.

PM04 - Cape Fur Seals

Akin to rolling on the grass with a a pack of dogs, diving with cape fur seals is as interactive a dive experience as there is.. Mecurial, playful and inquisitive, they swarm around you like hungry flies looking for something tasty to eat.
